What is our philosophy?

At Humble Beginnings Preschool we introduce and instill young children with the love of lifelong learning. We offer a well-balanced program that meticulously balances teacher and child centered activities in the areas of play, language arts, social emotional development, science, math, fine motor-, and gross motor skills, arts and crafts and music. Our philosophy is based on the following:

-We believe all children need and deserve a safe and loving place in which to learn and grow.

-We regard all children as unique individuals and celebrate and value the diversity of each child’s culture and ethnic background.

-Each child has the right to develop a strong self-esteem, feelings of independence and competence

-We will encourage parental involvement in their child’s learning in and out of preschool.

-We will meet the needs of each individual child and work with them at their own pace and at their own developmental level.
